Belt Conveyor

Overview

Belt conveyor has the advantages of large conveying capacity, fast conveying speed, low noise, uninterrupted, simple structure, high efficiency, convenient maintenance, standardization of components, etc.  It is widely used in mining, metallurgy, coal and other industries, for transportation of loose materials or finished items in small size.  According to different requirements of the conveying processes, it can work by a single or multiple conveyors, and it can also form a horizontal or inclining conveying system with other conveying units, to meet the needs of different types of production lines. When the inclination angle is greater than 30°, the materials can be lifted and conveyed at a larger inclination angle by installing gear strips, fixtures, skirts, etc. on the belt. In order to prevent the goods from rolling off due to gravity when conveying granular goods, a baffle can be installed at intervals as a protective measure. The belt conveyor is suitable for materials with the bulk density less than 1.67 tons per cubic meter, and easily accessible powder, granular, small blocks of low-abrasive and bagged materials, such as coal, gravel, sand, cement, fertilizer, grain,plastic parts and all kinds of powders, etc. The temperature of the material to be conveyed should be less than 60°C. The unit’s length and assembly forms are subject to the customer’s requirements. The transmission can be made with an electric roller, or a driving device with driving frames.
