Overview

Air flotation filter is a kind of water treatment equipment, its working principle is to produce a large number of fine bubbles in the water through the dissolved air system, so that these bubbles are attached to the suspended solids particles, resulting in a state of density less than water, and the use of buoyancy principle to make it float on the water surface, so as to achieve solid-liquid separation. Air flotation machine is widely used in water supply, industrial wastewater and urban sewage treatment, with the advantages of low investment, very small ground occupation, high degree of automation, convenient operation and management. Air flotation water purification is to dissolve a large amount of gas into water under high pressure, and release countless fine bubbles to bond with impurities in the water when the pressure is suddenly reduced, forming a foam mixture with a specific gravity of less than 1, so that the pollutants are separated from the wastewater and the purification effect is achieved. The air flotation machine can effectively remove grease, colloids, solid suspended solids, BOD and COD in the sewage, and the installation of this equipment in front of the biochemical sewage treatment plant can greatly reduce the scale of the treatment plant, thereby reducing the overall investment cost.

Working principle

The process flow of the air flotation equipment includes the raw water entering the mixing reactor to add chemical substances to form flocculents, the pretreated sewage entering the air flotation device to release tiny bubbles mixed with the gas-water mixture, and the tiny bubbles attach to the flocs in the sewage to form a gas float with a smaller specific gravity than water, which rises to the water surface and condenses into floating oil (or scum), which is scraped into the oil collection (slag) tank by the oil scraping (slag) machine. The heavy solid particles in the air intake chamber are precipitated and discharged through the sand discharge valve, and the sewage enters the water distribution area of the air flotation device, and the rapidly rising particles will float to the water surface; The slower rising particles are separated in the corrugated inclined plate, and all the heavy particles will sink, and the sinking particles are collected by the bottom scraper and discharged by opening the sludge discharge valve regularly.
